OpenAI has officially released Record Mode for ChatGPT Plus users on macOS. This new tool allows users to record up to 120 minutes of audio and automatically transcribe and summarise it using AI.

What is Record Mode in ChatGPT?

Record Mode is an advanced AI-powered tool inside the ChatGPT macOS app. It listens to your system audio (like a Zoom call or Google Meet) and turns it into readable summaries, notes, or even emails. It's designed to save time and improve productivity by handling note-taking automatically.

How to Use Record Mode on macOS

• Make sure you have a ChatGPT Plus subscription.
• Install or update the ChatGPT macOS app.
• Open the app and grant permission to use your microphone and system audio.
• Click the Record button at the bottom of the chat window.
• You can record up to 2 hours of audio per session.
• Pause and resume recordings as needed.

What Happens After Recording?
